There are about 70, 000 Muslims in Hong Kong and whilst there are spiritual centres in the sense of retreats or monastic peace, the mosques are open to those who wish to sit at the back and be quiet. There are five mosques in Hong Kong; in Tsim Sha Tsui, Wanchai, Cape Collinson, Mid-Levels and Stanley Prison. I've tended to sit at the back when i visit and was always welcomed, (as a male, I can't comment on what happens to women). People were friendly and I felt that they where happy to see non-traditional mosque visitor there.
