New Animal Centre
Lamma Animal Prpotection open a new centre on 13th December 2003. The Centre is situated behind the Spicy Island Restaurant at G/F A, 25B Main Street, Yung Shue Wan.

Our Animal Welfare Centre will be a friendly meeting place for anyone interested in LAP's work and meeting our fostered animals. It will also promote the important issues of responsible pet ownership, spay and neuter, fostering and animal care. The Centre will also help raise funds to help with medical bills, spay and neuter and general survival. We will sell a wide variety of quality donated goods. We also have plans for talks on a wide range of topics such as neonatal care, responsible pet ownership and training at the Centre in the near future.

Getting Back to Work Foundation 22/F One Lan Kwai Fong
Central, Hong Kong

Dear Friend

The Getting Back to Work Foundation has held five very well received and successful seminars for some 1,200 + people during 2003.
Based on the overwhelming feedback from all seminars we are pleased to announce the launch of a highly interactive and targetted workshop programme for 2004:

1. Personal Assessment (12 January 2004, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Participant should gain a much better idea of "Who I am and What I want", information key to the identification of a fulfilling role and to successful interviews.

2. Opportunity Targeting (12 January 2004, 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.)
Participants should gain a much clearer idea of the fields (industry sectors/areas of work) in which s/he would find fulfilling work, and to identify means of targeting key individuals in those fields.

3. Upgrading Marketing Tools (13 January 2004, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.)
Participants should become much better at presenting themselves, on paper and in person, to prospective employers.

Our workshop launch partner - Mindsight Career Management Services - have very kindly agreed to donate a portion of the workshop proceeds to help support the on-going work of the Foundation.

Each workshop will be limited to 15 people and will be highly interactive. Each workshop will involve homework. Cost is HK$1,500 per person - this fee will include all handouts but will not include any other incidental costs (e.g. refreshments/meals).

The workshops will be held in the British Council at Supreme Court Road, Hong Kong (Admiralty MTR United Centre Exit/behind Pacific Place). If you should have any questions please ring us on 2537 2632 or send a reply e-mail.

Bookings will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis. As spaces are extremely limited, apply early as demand will be high for such services. Make a fresh new start for the New Year!
