| Cashews, Coffee, and natural insect repellant sticks, coils, and ‘mats'. All products are from the spiritual community of Auroville. By buying them you will also support this community financially, their efforts to treat workers fairly and cut out the use of pesticide. On a personal note when I stayed in Auroville in 1999 my family and I were staying near Cashew nut trees and were sprayed with DDT and endosulfan and we all came down with fevers and headaches. It was very scary. In fact the company we buy cashews from ‘Auroannam' was set up by a Doctor there who got so fed up with dealing with the symptons that he decided to put his energies into promoting organic agriculture instead.
