These are “interesting times”! There seem to be so many problems in the world that it is easy to despair. However, we truly believe in the power of the individual to make a real and lasting difference. Many small acts of care and kindness do add up to big changes for the better – and in the end they will add up to a world at peace.

As such an act of care, and in harmony with the global initiative of the United Nations International Day of Peace (21st September), World Peace Flame® candles are being sent across the globe, to places as far away and sparsely-inhabited as Antarctica as well as to busy cities like Hong Kong. On that day, we are inviting as many like-minded individuals as we can find, in every country, to light a Flame and to focus their thoughts and prayers on peace for themselves and their loved ones, their homeland and the world. Already we have had beautiful and inspiring messages from countries as diverse as Israel, Burundi and the United States, and the candles continue to wing their way to other lands...
