Hi Peter,
Hope all is well. Do you know of any free English or bi-lingual weekly meditation sessions available in Hong Kong? A friend took me to one in Wan Chai a few years ago (on a Thursday, I believe), but I can't remember where exactly it was or if it's still running.
Cheers,
Stephanie |

Hi Linda
I can ask my Buddhist friends. I would guess the Buddhist Philosophy bookshops and the lovely little Buddhist bookshop on Lock road just by the Mosque could have them. |

Hi Peter,
I contacted the bookstore but they don't have any in stock, so I would appreciate it if you could post the question of where to find them. Thank you.
Take care.

Dear Peter,
I'm a subscriber of Holistic Hong Kong and I think maybe you can help me to locate shop(s) which carries the 38 Bach Flower Essences in Hong Kong. I'd got some of theim in Healing Plant (Central) many years ago and I think they don't carry them anymore. Please let me know where I can purchase them.
Thanks for your help.
Best,

| Q: May/07 |
Hi Peter,
I have a bad blood circulation in my legs and would like to know which natural 'remedy' you would advise (aside from drinking water, exercising and eating healthy)?
I heard there should be 'wolf berries' or something similar, but cannot seem to find them...
A Chinese shop advised to make tea from dates, which I just started, but am wondering if it will be effective.
Can you advise something that will really have some effect as my legs often feel tired and heavy and I walk on flat shoes almost every day.
Also, can you advise, with regard to healthy foods, what is good to eat and what better to avoid in this situation? Or perhaps which combinations are not good....
Thank you in advance for any tips you can give me.
Best regards,
A. |

My name is William and I am currently attending a Massage School in Massachusetts. I have a unique opportunity to relocate with my partner to Hong Kong in the near future. I am seeking your knowledge to find out how one can go about continuing their study of massage as well as work in Hong Kong for this craft?
Any information you could provide to me would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance,

I bumped in to jennifer Walker the naturopath from Zama before she leaves HK and passed on your questions to her - here's her reply.
Definitely Green Concepts would be the place to try - I think they're the only people bringing in dried herbs now - and I know Alexander (Dr Yuan from Green Concepts) uses fluid extracts if the dried aren't available for her.

I am visiting Hong Kong in April and would like to know if there are any short - say, 2-3 day courses which teach traditional Chinese Massage/quigong tuina? I would only wish to take training in a professional environment. I am already a Western-trained bodyworker.
Any advice you can give will be greatly appreciated,

Hi Vee
I'll ask the new age shop. I had an ad a year ago in Positive News and Holistic HK about Rosicrucians; i'll dig that up for you.
I found this ad from 3 years ago
The Rosicrucian Order (AMORC) provides monographs that offer an inexpensive time-tested system of home study and experimentation which reveals the underlying principles of the Cosmic. The teachings will enable you to direct your own life and to experience inner peace. The Rosicrucian Order is the world's oldest fraternity, non-profit, non-religious and non-political. For details see www.amorc.org.au or writeto H.K.Pronaos, GPO B 9833 for brochure.
Edgar Cayce - i will ask the New Age Shop about it.
