I used to attend Ashtanga yoga in a small cosy yoga school, with about 20 to 30 people in a class. I like the atmosphere where the teacher knows everyone and it was a very family-liked environment. Unfortunately, the school has been closed down. I've been searching for similar type of Ashtang yoga school on Hong Kong island but to no avail.
If you know of any, I would be grateful if you can let me know.

Stain and Counterstrain
This day and a half practical course will present Strain and Counterstrain
Technique, developed by Lawrence Jones, DO. This is an approach used to
normalize abnormal neuromuscular physiology. Reduction and arrest of the
inappropriate proprioceptor activity which is hypothesized as the basis of
"muscle spasm" and also "spasticity" is achieved with this technique. The
resulting muscle fiber relaxation and elongation is accompanied by improved
articular balance, increased joint mobility and ranges of motion. This
technique is extremely effective and important for the treatment of all
musculoskeletal disorders, including low back pain, thoracic and cervical
pain, and all peripheral joint disorders. Advanced Strain and Counterstrain
Technique, developed by Sharon Weiselfish Giammatteo, PT, PhD, IMT,C., uses
the same principles to treat autonomically innervated muscles, including the
smooth muscles which line vascular tissue and lymphatic vessels.
